Two thousand years ago, all civilisation on the planet Teymah was wiped out in an AELE – an Anomalous Extinction Level Event. Now, the galactic entrepreneur Lyam Yce hopes, at last, to learn the reason why the ancient Teymahrians went extinct – by funding a huge archaeological dig.
While the Doctor probes a strange sphere found by Yce’s diggers, his companion, former Bletchley Park cryptographer Constance Clarke, agrees to help translate symbols written in the lost ancient language of the Teymahrians. We’re still on our semi-regular peregrinations around the previous incarnations here, before carrying on with the Seventh Doctor’s Main Range adventures. And the Dalek stories are turning up like buses at the moment. Ol’ Sixey and Mrs Clarke feature against the most intriguing Dalek concept we’ve seen in the last few years…
The 8.15 is late. As usual. But in an infinite universe, with infinite possibilities, somewhere there’s an 8.15 that made it on time. But that means there’s also an 8.15 lost in deep fog, onboard which the passengers are busy killing each other… Guess which 8.15 the Doctor has just found… 
When a blast of artron energy brings the Tardis to Earth in 2029AD, the Doctor finds snowstorms and a Viking burial mound in Arizona. But all is most definitely not what it seems here – behind the nano-tech environmental control experiments of Dr Hugo Macht is a piece of technology that, rather than helping to save the world, could end up destroying it. It’s up to Constance Clarke and the Doctor to work out the story of the Shield of the Jotunn – and to hold back an eternal winter if they can… 
Never one to knowingly read his own mail, the Doctor isn’t aware that old foe The Rani is – after a century in prison – up for parole. His presence is required at the penitentiary on Teccaurora. It’s 1940s Britain, everybody’s off to war, and in the bleak, cold huts of Bletchley Park, an inhuman intelligence directs operations, desperately trying to decode enemy signals. While MI6 agents close in, Mrs Constance Clarke finds herself roped into the search for Agent Spark. Soon, she’ll be transported onto a German submarine, battle against an alien waveform, and mix with double agents. But it’s the inhuman intelligence at the heart of Bletchley who might be able to help find her missing husband – an inhuman intelligence called… The Doctor. 
It’s a gigantic monument – a massive cyber-head, located out in the fringes of known space. Ten years after the end of the great Cyber Wars, Zennox and her team have come to excavate and explore the place. The Doctor has come too, drawn by a message that doesn’t make sense. When he realises the danger he is in, he flees back to the Tardis – but the Doctor Jamie and Zoe are expecting has been replaced by a fiery chap in multi-coloured clothing…
