Month: September 2015

Hiatus report

You may have noticed that this project seems to have stalled over the last few months. There are a couple of good reasons for this:

First, I did say right at the start that this was going to be a very quixotic affair, and would only get more difficult as I went further through the Main Range chronology. I’ve been proved right in that – having reached what I thought was the (current) end of the Sixth Doctor’s tenure in audio, I was starting on the McCoy/Mel partnership, only to find that Big Finish were adding to that part of the range at the same time as giving Ol’ Sixey a proper box-set regeneration send-off. I’m not complaining, but that’s created a bit of a pile-up – I don’t want to have to keep shifting back and forth between Doctors, so I’m stockpiling reviews so that I can release them in the correct chronological order.

Second, this isn’t my only leisure pursuit. Outside the blue box, I write epic fantasy, and my novel Heir to the North is due for release in October 2015. You can buy it here. Naturally, that’s a priority for me.

I’ll be back. But in the meantime, happy listening!
